Assistant Apartment Manager

Potentially this position could take over and become the full-time on-site manager, dependent on employee's ability/skills.
You would start by training with a regional manager on-site or at one of our other properties to prepare you for handling more responsibilities solo.
Responsibilities:
Assistant apartment manager will assist in the day-to-day operations of their community.
Assistant manager will perform various office duties including:
Creating work orders for maintenance tasks Taking payments for rent and other charges Preparing bank deposits to scan Responding to tenant concerns in a timely, professional manner Posting notices to tenants Assisting tenants with any issues on property Showing vacant units to prospective tenants Helping keep track of vacancies and remodeling progress Following all Fair Housing, ADA, and other federal regulations in regards to housing All other duties as required to help manage the community safely and securely.
Job Requirements:
Basic computer knowledge and experience with the following software:
Excel, Word, Appfolio or other property management software a huge plus High School diploma is required.
College a plus.
Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable car.
Must pass a background and credit check.
Previous multi-family property management experience not required, but is a huge plus.
