Applicant must be proficient in Quick-books Desktop and Online and proficient in Excel.
The position requires organization and communication skills, and attention to detail.
This position is a unique opportunity to work closely with our Accountants to grow knowledge and gain great experience.
The position is available for immediate hire with Flexible hours, preferably between 1 pm -5 pm.
Variable hours between 16 - 20 hrs per week with starting Salary at $18/hr.
Responsibilities:
-Data entry -Bank reconciliations -Credit card reconciliations -Filing/organizing -Other clerical duties -Help accountants with projects that may arise -Be able to lift 50lbs Skills:
Bookkeeping experience preferred.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Data entry skills along with attention to detail.
Proficient in Excel.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
Adhere to crucial deadlines.
Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Qualifications:
- Bookkeeping experience (preferred but not required) - Accounting Associates Degree or Bookkeeping Certificate preferred but not required - Proficient in Quickbooks Desktop and Online - Reliable and dependable - Proficient in Excel Hours:
16-20 hours per week.
Flexible time schedule between Monday-Friday 1pm-5pm.
