We are looking to grow our team with a Full time receptionist who is passionate about client and patient care.
Veterinary experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Saturdays and some evening shifts required.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner - Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from clients - Collect and update patient information, including medical history - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area - Process payments and handle financial transactions - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving issues
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a veterinary receptionist or in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures - Familiarity with animal care and husbandry practices Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and veterinarians - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping and scheduling - Proficiency in using computer systems for appointment scheduling, data entry, and record management If you are passionate about providing exceptional care to animals, have excellent customer service skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
